Tyler Herro may have spent Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals, which the Heat lost, sidelined with a broken hand, but that didn’t prevent him from catching a stray on the TNT broadcast for his wild outfit choices.
Herro was in street clothes for Tuesday’s game, wearing striped pants and a purple bucket hat. After seeing Herro’s questionable outfit, Stan Van Gundy remarked that Herro needed to return from injury soon.
“You know the No. 1 reason the Heat need Tyler Herro back? Because his fashion is so bad on the bench that we need him in uniform,” Van Gundy joked.

Lane Kiffin has been vocal about the role that Name, Image and Likeness plays in the modern era of college football since the NCAA passed its legislation in July of 2021. The 46-year-old head coach is frustrated by the discrepancy in funds across the country.

Three time U.S. Open winner Tiger Woods has announced he will not play in the event this year as he continues to rehab from a surgery he had earlier this year.
Tiger Woods missed the 2023 PGA Championship while rehabbing from surgery, and now he will miss the U.S. Open in June. When the USGA announced its field for the third major of the year, Woods was not among the 84 players listed, per ESPN’s report.

Less than three weeks ago, the Cardinals were buried in last place after 34 games and inelegantly scapegoating their catcher. Now, they look like the best team in the NL Central, a reasonable facsimile of the 2005 Astros and ’19 Nationals, teams that seemed hopelessly under .500 almost two months into a season who then rallied to win a pennant.
What happened? Simply, St. Louis slugged its way out of the mess.

NCAA infractions cases centered on sports wagering are “spiking” right now, according to the association’s vice president of enforcement, Jon Duncan. The NCAA released a study Wednesday that underscored why.
A survey of more than 3,500 18-to-22-year-olds found that sports wagering is pervasive, with 58% having engaged in at least one sports betting activity.

You’d think that in a make-or-break Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Dallas Stars would’ve been in top form.
You’d think that, but you’d be wrong.
Every aspect of the game from Dallas’ side of the equation — lack of scoring, lack of discipline, fans hucking drinks from the stands — was a disaster.

The summer months are almost here, so it’s time to start “fantasy” mocking! In the first of our series of mock drafts, we at Sports Illustrated (with some of our industry pals) got together for a 12-team, 13-round mock. We utilized a basic scoring system with a full point for all receptions (PPR). The starting lineup includes a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end and a flex (RB/WR/TE). There were no kickers or defense/special teams units in the mock.

Kansas forward Kevin McCullar Jr. has withdrawn his name from the NBA draft and will return to the Jayhawks for his final season, the school announced on Wednesday, likely cementing Kansas as the preseason No. 1 in men’s college basketball.
