With Conor McGregor’s fighting career still on hold, the polarizing MMA star has revealed plans for his next endeavor, which will place him at the center of one of the year’s most-hyped boxing matches.
McGregor announced on Saturday he will train longtime friend and training partner, Dillon Danis, as he prepares for his boxing debut against Logan Paul on Oct. 14. The Braves, who boast an MLB-best 74–41 record, outhit the Mets 22–6 in the win. Allan Winans dominated New York on the mound, scattering only four hits and no runs over seven innings in just his second big league start.
After the drubbing, the Mets Twitter account conspicuously opted to omit the final score on social media, as well as any image following the humiliating blowout defeat. The club simply tweeted: “FINAL: Game 1 is over.

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh may never be suspended for allegedly breaking NCAA rules in 2020 by recruiting during COVID-19 dead periods.
The NCAA Committee on Infractions will be taking a closer look at his alleged infractions. And it will not be sticking to a previous agreement that would have suspended Harbaugh for the first four games of the 2023 season, according to a report by Yahoo.com’s Dan Wetzel Saturday afternoon. The NCAA had to approve that agreement, and did not.
