Atlanta (Ga.) McEachern three-star cornerback Nash Johnson has decommitted from Alabama, he told Rivals’ Chad Simmons on Wednesday.
Johnson pledged to the Crimson Tide in November over offers from Georgia and Georgia Tech, as well as a host of other schools. Since then though, a number of schools have turned up their interest in the 6-foot-1, 175-pound corner, including rivals Tennessee and Auburn, along with Miami and Ole Miss.
He has official visits scheduled in May and June with each of those programs as they look to land his next commitment.

The Kentucky Wildcats women’s basketball team has had a successful past two seasons under head coach Kenny Brooks. He was brought in from Virginia Tech to upgrade the program, and there’s little doubt that he’s done exactly that. He’s done such a good job that he’s gotten the attention of other programs in need of a coach.
Over the weekend, reports emerged that Brooks was contacted by Virginia about their vacancy. He was eventually offered the job, but by Tuesday, Brooks had declined the offer, and the Cavaliers had already hired someone else for the job.
Anthony Davis: You know how it always goes like you know oh you get drafted to a team and then when you’re done it’s like damn towards the end of career I might want to go back… I’ve always had that mindset and I told Miss Benson when the trade happened, before the deadline to ask for a trade I told her look, Miss B, I want to get out of here, these are the reasons, whatever.
Anthony Davis: New Orleans offered me a crazy deal at the time. Like it’s not even about the money. Like I genuinely want to win. And so now because I want to win, I’m considered a villain to this team and to this fan base. And to this day, I go back and they still boo me, right? Draymond Green: And that’s why they still losing. You don’t boo the best player in your franchise history. You appreciate him. Davis: I’mma tell you what got me though. And you say that best player in franchise history like points, rebounds, blocks, like all this.
Anthony Davis on trade to Lakers: It was tough though because when Rich Paul was telling me like you got to go to the media… and I never talked about this by the way. You’re getting the first clues. I’ve never spoken to anybody about this. Draymond Green: Appreciated. Davis: When Rich told me like you have to go and say I was like no, hell no. Be a villain? man… change teams? I was scared. Like I didn’t at first I didn’t want to be traded cuz I’m like change is change is different man. Change is hard.
Anthony Davis on being traded to Dallas: Look, from the business standpoint I can’t be mad, but like why? I couldn’t understand it. Nobody told me nothing. Nobody said a thing to me. So you just catch me off guard like yeah you traded to Dallas. That’s what I couldn’t get over it, and I still can’t get over it, I think I deserve much more respect than that.
Anthony Davis: So when Rich said I was traded to Dallas, I was like the f*ck out of here. I saidwho the f*ck they gonna trade me for? Luka Doncic? I was just saying like who else can you trade me for on that team? Mind you, the Mavs just went to the finals. And it was never no discussion about like man, we might get AD out of here or… it was nothing. And he was like, “They traded you for Luka.” I’m like “Rich, shut the hell up. What? Like, shut what do you want?” I’m really thinking he’s just playing. And he was like, “Man, I swear.
There is no winner’s purse involved in the annual Masters Par 3 contest, but that doesn’t mean money doesn’t regularly change hands between players, which is exactly what happened in Justin Thomas‘ group on Wednesday afternoon at Augusta National.
Thomas made the 116th hole-in-one in the event’s history with a perfect shot on the second hole of the Par 3 course.
