Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm will never be able to live down his infamous quote from two years ago.
On April 11, 2022, Bohm had a night to forget at Citizens Bank Park. In just the first two innings of a game against the New York Mets, he committed three errors in consecutive innings. First Baseman Rhys Hoskins (who is now sliding into middle infielders for the Milwaukee Brewers) got a lot of cardio in chasing down Bohm’s errant throws.
Finally, he fielded a ground ball and completed a throw late in the second inning, and Phillies fans rained a sarcastic cheer on Bohm.

It’s been a pretty good year to be a Florida Panthers fan with some substantial success over the last 12 months.
What I didn’t realize is that success isn’t just on the ice these days, it’s in the stands too, especially with the ladies.
Specifically, as it relates to one Victor E. Rat, who knows how to make the fairer sex swoon… or at least twerk.
For the initiated, the Panthers employ not one, but two costumed mascots. One is named Stanley C. Panther, while the other is a rat named Victor E.
After much hype, the Philadelphia 76ers officially immortalized Allen Iverson outside the team’s practice facility on Friday afternoon.
A large crowd of fans, media and even Iverson himself were on hand to witness the unveiling of a bronze statue depicting one of the franchise’s greatest players.
But fans on social media couldn’t help but notice one teeny, tiny problem with the new statue.
I mean, it’s nice. I just thought it’d be bigger. (TWSS)
Iverson isn’t exactly a large dude, by NBA standards.

Homa played 27 holes on Friday at The Masters to sit near the top of the leaderboard as he looks for a Green Jacket.
Max Homa started strong Friday, finishing his first round of The Masters with a 5-under 67.
Homa had to fight the wind for most of his second round at Augusta National but still found a way to remain under par, signing for a 1-under 71 to sit at 6-under on the tournament.
His 36-hole total of 6-under 138 is a career low for him in any major championship.

Tiger Woods fought his way through the harsh conditions to make the cut at the 2024 Masters Tournament.
With all the odds stacked against him, Tiger Woods continued to fight at the 88th Masters Tournament.
His ailing body, the 40-mile-per-hour winds, a lengthy delay that led to 23 holes in one day on Friday—all these signs pointed to Woods bowing out early.
The upcoming Paris Olympics triathlon may be at risk of not happening because the city’s River Seine is so polluted with dangerous levels of bacteria AND FECES, that it may not be safe in time for the athletes to compete in it.
According to France’s Surfider Foundation, which has monitored the country’s water levels for over 20 years, samples in recent weeks and months have at times been at least 4x the World Triathlon health standards. “We are therefore genuinely concerned about the health of athletes,” the Foundation said.

Blustery conditions have made things extremely difficult for the 89 players at this year’s Masters Tournament.
Wind gusts reached 40 miles per hour at Augusta National on Friday, bringing carnage to the 88th edition of The Masters.
That explains why so many players have struggled, including Shane Lowry, who honestly assessed the conditions after his 2-over 74.
“It’s so hard out there. It’s honestly a lot of guesswork and a lot of luck involved. It’s hard to hole putts.

Playoff hero Jordan Montgomery fired Boras after being one of several big-name free agents to sign late for a much lower contract than expected.
For decades now, Scott Boras has been synonymous with the MLB offseason. He changed the landscape of player salaries in such a dramatic way and over such a long period of time that it would not surprise anyone to see a Boras plaque in the National Baseball Hall of Fame one day, à la Marvin Miller.
Saudi Arabia has a lot of money to throw at soccer players who agree to play in the Middle East, but prospective players should ask themselves a very important question: is that kind of money worth being whipped by fans while you’re leaving the pitch?
It’s worth considering because that is precisely what happened to one player during the Saudi Super Cup Final.
The finale of the tournament took place in Abu Dhabi and featured Al-Ittihad taking on Al-Hilal.
According to UPI, Al-Ittihad striker Abderrazak Hamdallah could be seen jawing at a man in the crowd during the match.
