Two years ago, the 49ers invested three first-round picks and a third-round pick in quarterback Trey Lance. The circumstances placed intense pressure on Lance, and things simply haven’t worked out for him, so far, in the NFL.

From Ferrari’s struggles to Red Bull’s dominance, looking at the one big question facing each F1 team
Formula 1 has hit the pause button.
With the cancellation of the Chinese Grand Prix, there is now a big gap between the Australian Grand Prix and the next race, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the end of the month. That gives teams, drivers, fans, and yes media a chance to catch their breath, take stock of where things stand, and see if fortunes can improve by Baku.
Tennessee has a fight on its hands in two weeks with the NCAA in Cincinnati. Head football coach Jeremy Pruitt is hoping to reduce his own penalty. After two years of investigating Tennessee for its 18 Level-1 violations for paying players, we’re on the cusp of finally getting a resolution.
It’s certainly a bit absurd that we’ve gotten to this point in the ongoing investigation, but it shouldn’t be unexpected with the NCAA’s track record. Now, Pruitt, former DC Derrick Ansley and Tennessee will go in-front of the committee on infractions to plead their case.
Si Woo Kim, Phil Mickelson, and Tom Hoge isn’t the most exciting threesome at the Masters, but Kim’s wardrobe choice on Friday immediately changed that.
Kim, a four-time winner on Tour, has a sponsorship involving the PGA Tour itself, and his shirt during the second round loudly displayed that. The shirt has PGA Tour written all over it, which undoubtedly caught the attention of Mickelson, who infamously joined LIV Golf last year after bashing the Tour.

During the Scott Frost era, there wasn’t a ton of high speed contact in practices, which drew the ire of many.

“I let quarterbacks play, and that was the best the quarterbacks had played (Saturday). That’s the best they have played. They needed that. They needed those live reps when they can get hit to speed up their process.
Pelicans star Zion Williamson, who has been sidelined since early January with a hamstring strain, is unlikely to return to action in next week’s play-in tournament, according to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Charania noted that the team is being extremely cautious with Williamson, who is continuing his rehab process in hopes of returning to action in the event that the Pelicans play their way into a first round playoff series.
Although not a setback, the news is certainly disappointing for the Pelicans, who are a different team with Williamson on the court.

That was Charles Barkley, on The Steam Room podcast, doing what Charles Barkley does best: Entertain the masses.
Barkley and cohost Ernie Johnson were answering a question from a fan who wanted to know if a bar of soap hits the ground, does the soap become dirty or does the ground become clean.
This was the opening Barkley needed to rant about hotel soap and share a personal anecdote that could’ve been straight out of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.
Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. I apologize. The AI commentary of the Masters has some redeeming qualities.

Several weeks ago, some were surprised by the notion that a trade of Aaron Rodgers from the Packers to the Jets wouldn’t happen until the draft. At this point, any other outcome would be a surprise. The draft starts in 20 days, with round one. Round two starts three weeks from tonight.
