The biggest story of the lottery is Mavericks getting the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. But the Spurs had some fascinating results, too.
Even though Dallas will unexpectedly have the first chance to select Duke sensation Cooper Flagg, their crosstown rivals in San Antonio will also have one of the earliest picks on draft night. They have the No. 2 overall pick, which we currently project they will use to select Rutgers freshman Dylan Harper.
Harper could fill in as as a long-term guard pairing alongside De’Aaron Fox for the Spurs to pair with Victor Wembanyama.
