Youngstown State University has arguably college sports’ most unique nickname; the Penguins. Unlike the Tigers, Bulldogs, Eagles or a slew of others, Penguins is quite literally in a class of its own. YSU stands alone as the only college with Penguins for a nickname.

Now that the preseason is over, the Oklahoma City have filled out their final roster spot. They have signed Chris Youngblood to their third two-way contract. He joins Branden Carlson and Brooks Barnhizer at the bottom of the depth chart.
This shouldn’t be too surprising. Since Youngblood joined the Thunder, he’s been a fan favorite. He went undrafted out of Alabama in the 2025 NBA draft. After that, he signed with OKC’s Summer League squad and flexed his outside shooting.
Youngblood was added to the Thunder’s training camp and preseason roster.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. will undergo a procedure on his left big toe that will keep him out for the foreseeable future, the team announced on Oct. 18.
Pippen will undergo a sesamoidectomy to address ongoing discomfort in his left big toe. He is expected to make a full recovery, the Grizzlies said.
Pippen will be reevaluated in 12 weeks, according to ESPN’s Sham Charania.
